New sustainability manager appointed at Skanska

Skanska has appointed Noel Morrin as its new Senior Vice President Sustainability. Based in Stockholm, Noel will assume his new position on October 1. He succeeds Axel Wenblad, who was appointed Director General of the Swedish National Board of Fisheries earlier this year.

Noel joins Skanska from the RMC Group, the world’s largest ready mixed concrete producer, where he served as the Group Environment Director for six years. Prior to RMC he held senior roles at the international chemical company ICI, the UK National Environmental Technology Centre and British NGO, Business in the Environment. Noel is a graduate biologist and chemist from the National University of Ireland. “We are pleased to welcome Noel Morrin to Skanska.
