Skanska acquires block in Gothenburg, Sweden, for SEK 220M

Skanska has acquired an entire block in Gothenburg, Sweden, for about SEK 220M. The seller is Fastighets AB L E Lundberg. The intention is to develop modern and sustainable office space on site over time. The possibility of adding housing will also be studied in the coming zoning process.

The block consists of the development properties Gothenburg Gårda 8:2, 8:5 and 8:6. Existing, to a large extent let, buildings have an area of about 13,000 square meters. The area called Gårda is under strong development and is an attractive location for both offices and homes. Skanska’s goal is to create a neighborhood with a strong sense of sustainability where people’s health and well-being are the main focus.
