Skanska announce order cancellation for USD 75 M, about SEK 482 M in Latin America

Skanska announces that a confidential client in the mining industry in Latin America has terminated contracts with Skanska, for reasons not attributable to Skanska. The contracts amount to USD 75 M, about SEK 482 M. The cancellation will reduce the order bookings for Skanska LA in the first quarter 2013. 

Skanska Latin America is one of the region’s leading contractors. Operations focus primarily on engineering, construction, operation and maintenance services for the international oil & gas, energy and mining industries. In 2012 the unit had 13,000 employees and revenues of about SEK 8.2 billion.
