Skanska builds a new hospital building in Karlskrona, Sweden, for about SEK 330M

Skanska has signed a contract with Blekinge County Council to build a new building at Blekinge Hospital, Karlskrona, Sweden. The contract is worth about SEK 330M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2018.

Skanska's project includes the construction of a seven-story high-rise building of over 12,000 square meters primarily intended for medical and laboratory activities.

Construction work will begin in February 2018, with the intention of the new building to be completed in February 2020.
