Skanska builds a Prisma hypermarket in Espoo, Finland, for EUR 60M, about SEK 660M
Skanska has signed a contract with HOK-Elanto to build a Prisma hypermarket in Espoo, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 60M, approximately SEK 660M, and will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter of 2026.
The hybrid project, with a total floor area of approximately 30,000 square meters, will include a Prisma hypermarket, smaller retail outlets, and two seven-story residential buildings with a total of 105 apartments, comprising both owner-occupied and rental units.
The project aims to achieve the environmental classification by Rakennustieto, which sets requirements for aspects such as energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and site operations.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed during 2028.
