Skanska builds and renovates school district in Ohio, USA, for USD 45 M, about SEK 410 M

Skanska has, as part of a joint venture with Megen Construction, signed a contract with Little Miami Local Schools in Ohio, USA, to build and renovate the school district. Skanska’s 70 percent share of the contract is worth USD 45 M, about SEK 410 M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the first quarter 2019.

The project includes several new buildings, additions and renovations. A new 9,500 square meter pre-kindergarten to first grade school will be built as well as additions to the intermediate school. Additions and renovations will also be carried out to the junior high school, the high school and an elementary school.

Construction services are slated to start in May 2019. The project is expected to reach completion in the third quarter of 2021.
