Skanska builds clinical care building in Brookline, USA, for USD 40 M, about SEK 380 M

Skanska has signed a contract with The Children’s Hospital Corporation to construct a new ambulatory clinical care building, Boston Children’s at Brookline Place in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA. The contract is worth USD 40 M, about SEK 380 M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2019.

The project includes the fit-out of five levels of a 7,800-square-meter space, with a scope of work including clinical services and research space, equipment suites, reception areas, medical offices and a ground floor lobby.

Construction begins in October 2019 and is scheduled for completion in July 2020.
