Skanska builds Forum Medicum in Lund for about SEK 450 M
Skanska has signed a contract with Akademiska Hus to build new Forum Medicum in Lund. The project covers 15,000 square meters of science and education facilities for the faculty of Medicine at Lund University. The contract is worth about SEK 450 M, which will be included in the order bookings for Sweden for the third quarter 2020.
At Forum Medicum, most of the medical faculty at Lund University gathers in a health science and medical knowledge center. The building will be six floors high plus a basement floor in addition. Forum Medicum was designed by Henning Larsen Architects.
Construction start is scheduled for the third quarter 2020 and the office building will be completed during the spring of 2023.
