Skanska builds highway section in Czech Republic for EUR 77M, about SEK 780M

Skanska has signed a contract with National Highway Authority of the Czech Republic to build a highway section in Staré Město, eastern Czech Republic. The contract is worth EUR 77M, about SEK 780M, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the third quarter 2021.

The construction of the 8.8-kilometer section between Staré Město – Moravský Písek, including nine bridges and two multi-level crossings, will be financed by the European Regional Development Fund, OP Integrated Infrastructure 2014-2020 and the state budget.

The expected construction commencement date is August 2021 and the completion scheduled for the autumn 2024.
