Skanska builds hospital in King of Prussia, USA, for USD 186 M, about SEK 1.7 billion
Skanska has signed a contract with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to build a new inpatient hospital in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA. The contract is worth USD 186 M, about SEK 1.7 billion, which will be included in US order bookings for the third quarter of 2019.
The building will be about 23,400 square-meter over seven floors. The project also includes the renovation of the existing 5,000-square-meter structure, and the expansion of an existing loading dock and a precast parking garage.
Construction began in September and is scheduled for completion in December 2021.
