Skanska builds multi-family buildings for Stena Fastigheter in Gothenburg, Sweden, for about SEK 550 M
Skanska has signed a contract with Stena Fastigheter AB to build multi-family buildings in Ekebäckshöjd in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is worth about SEK 550 M, which will be included in the order bookings for Sweden for the first quarter 2020.
In total, 361 apartments will be built, both condominiums and rental apartments, and the buildings will also house a preschool and retail premises. The project covers 38,000 square meters and the buildings will be between six and eleven floors high. Ekebäckshöjd is located in close proximity to good communications and service.
Relationship management is a central theme of the construction project. This means pursuing issues that are good for the neighborhood, the area and the people who live or work there. This is done together with tenants, associations and public actors. Sustainability is also in focus and the new buildings will be certified in accordance with Environmental Building, silver level.
Construction is scheduled to start in the second quarter 2020 and the project will be completed in the spring 2023.
