Skanska builds new government building in Oslo, Norway, for about NOK 2.8 billion, about SEK 2.7 billion

Skanska has signed a contract with Statsbygg to build a part of the new Government quarter in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth about NOK 2.8 billion, about SEK 2.7 billion, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter 2025.

The project scope encompasses 26,800 square meters, including basement, and will be the second largest building in the new government quarters. The project is intended to achieve the certification BREEAM Outstanding.

Construction will start in January 2025 and is expected to be completed in September 2029.
