Skanska builds office building and movie theater in Tysons Corner, USA, for USD 167M, about SEK 1.5 billion

Skanska has signed a contract with The Meridian Group & Rockefeller Group to build a new office building and movie theater in Tysons Corner in Virginia, USA. The contract is worth USD 167M, about SEK 1.5 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter 2017. 

Skanska will build the new 20-story, about 42,500-square-meter Class A office building, and a more than 10,000-square-meter movie theater both constructed over a shared 5-level, below-grade parking garage. The office project will be seeking LEED Gold certification.

Construction is ongoing, and the project is expected to be completed in October 2018.
