Skanska builds school facility in Pullman, Washington, USA for USD 52 M, about SEK 470 M
Skanska has signed a contract with Washington State University (WSU) to build the Plant Sciences Building at the WSU Pullman campus in Pullman, Washington, USA. The contract is worth USD 52 M, about SEK 470 million, which will be included in the US order bookings for the third quarter of 2018.
The contract consists of the construction of an approximately 7,700 square meter facility to carry out fundamental plant science research. The four-story building will house an open, modular wet-lab space; shared support functions; and office space for principal investigators, staff and research assistants. Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in 2020.
