Skanska has acquired approximately 6,600 square meters of land in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm, Sweden from the City of Stockholm. The total investment amounts to about SEK 340M.

On the land plot, Skanska plans to develop two more office buildings within the framework of the Sthlm New development project, within which five office buildings have previously been developed or are under development. The building right covers approximately 31,000 square meters.

The area is one of Stockholm's fastest growing workplace areas with high sustainability ambitions. The ongoing expansion of Stockholm's new metro will further strengthen the public transport situation and the development of Sthlm New, which covers a total of approximately 100,000 square meters, and is estimated to create an additional 8,000-10,000 jobs.
