Skanska completes groundwork for railway station in Bergen, Norway, for NOK 384M, about SEK 400M

Skanska has signed a contract with Baneservice for the completion of groundwork in the Fløen railway station project in Bergen, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 384M, about SEK 400M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the first quarter 2022.

Skanska will be responsible for all excavation work, handling of masses, construction of ditches, preparation of ground, water and drainage systems, and sorting of masses and asphalt. The works are part of the railway project Nygårdstangen–Bergen–Fløen, which Baneservice is carrying out for BaneNOR.

Construction start is May 2022, and the project will be delivered in May 2024.
