Skanska divests office property in Oslo, Norway for about NOK 1.3 billion, about SEK 1.5 billion

Skanska has signed a contract with DNB Scandinavian Property Fund to sell the office property Workplace Oo in Oslo, Norway for about SEK 1.5 billion. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the second quarter 2019. Transfer of ownership is scheduled for the third quarter 2019.

Workplace Oo is a high-quality office building located at the public transportation hub Storo in the north of Oslo. The building of approx. 24,000 square meters was developed and built by Skanska and completed in December 2018. Workplace Oo is designed to meet the requirements of the environmental certification BREEAM-NOR Excellent and is 95 percent leased. Among the tenants are the Norwegian Directorate of Health, District Sagene of the Municipality of Oslo, Evolve Business Space and Opera Software.
