Skanska has sold an office building located in the Ruskeasuo district of Helsinki, Finland, to the international real estate investor company Union Investment. The sales price is EUR 32 M, about SEK 274 M, which will be included in the results for the third quarter 2013. The new owner will take possession of the property during the third quarter 2013.

The office building comprises approximately 9,000 square meters and it is entirely leased to Skanska, and houses Skanska's Finnish head office among other operations. The building received the highest, platinum-level LEED certification in January 2013.

The building is the first, of a total of four, that has been constructed by Skanska in this area, and the deal shows that there is a great demand for modern and efficient properties.
