Skanska invests about SEK 540M in a logistics facility in Helsingborg, Sweden, which is fully let to Greenfood. The construction contract is worth about SEK 400M, which will be included in the Swedish order bookings for the second quarter 2021.

Långeberga is a strategic logistics location in Helsingborg, just adjacent to the E4 / E6 / E20 junction that connects Copenhagen with Oslo and Stockholm. The 44,000-square meter facility will have a strong environmental focus in everything from material selection to efficient cooling systems and modern heat recovery. In addition, a solar cell system on the roof will cover parts of the buildings electricity needs.

Construction started during the second quarter 2021 and is expected to be completed during the first quarter 2023.
