Skanska invests CZK 1.1 billion, about SEK 480M, in residential project in Prague, Czech Republic

Skanska invests CZK 1.1 billion, about SEK 480M, in a residential project in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Alfred residential building comprises of 179 apartments built on 11,000 square meters. The 10-storey building will offer a predominance of 1 and 2-bedroom homes. This project is part of the second phase of the residential development project Emil Kolben Quarter in Prague.

The project is designed to receive the BREEAM environmental certification. Skanska is installing roof photovoltaic panels that will power corridor lighting and apartment ventilation system. Alfred will achieve 24% higher energy efficiency in comparison to a reference building.

The new neighborhood is surrounded by rich amenities and located close to a metro and tram station.

Construction has started and completion is scheduled for early 2025.
