Skanska invests EUR 23 M, about SEK 208 M, in office project in Vantaa, Finland

Skanska Commercial Development Nordic starts a new office project in Vantaa, Finland, a part of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The investment amounts to EUR 23 M, about SEK 208 M.

The new building, Aviabulevardi, comprises a total floor space of 9,100 square meters and is located in Aviapolis area next to the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. The multi-tenant office building is designed to meet the demands of LEED certification process.

Construction work will commence immediately and the building will be completed during the second quarter of 2016.

Skanska Commercial Development Nordic has completed three projects in Finland, including Lintulahti Building and two office buildings in Manskun Rasti, which all have achieved LEED Platinum certifications. 

Skanska Commercial Development Nordic initiates and develops property projects in offices, logistics, business premises and commercial buildings. The company’s operations are concentrated in the three metropolitan regions in Sweden, the Copenhagen region in Denmark, the Oslo region in Norway, as well as Helsinki in Finland. The development of logistics and volume retail properties is conducted in strategic locations in Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
