Skanska invests EUR 37M, about SEK 360M, in the first phase of a new office project in Bucharest, Romania
Skanska invests EUR 37M, about SEK 360M, in the first phase of the office project Equilibrium located in the northern part of Bucharest, Romania. The 12-storey building will comprise of 20,800 square meters of gross leasable area and 240 parking lots above- and underground.
Equilibrium will have a mix of green relaxation spaces, modern exterior furniture and meeting hubs with wireless connection in all areas and innovative sustainability features such as carbon footprint calculation, a dashboard showing energy consumption, high speed chargers for electrical cars and a dedicated application of the building. The project is LEED Gold pre-certified. Upon completion, the entire two-building complex will offer 40,700 square meters of gross leasable area.
Construction is due to start in July 2017 and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019.
Equilibrium is Skanska’s third office development project in Bucharest.
