Skanska invests EUR 45M, about SEK 450 M, in the second phase of the Equilibrium office project in Bucharest, Romania. The second building will have a total leasable area of 19,900 square meters.
The 12-storey building will be built in the northern part of Bucharest. More than 200 parking lots above- and underground will also be built. The project is LEED Gold pre-certified.
Construction works are planned to start in February 2020 and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023.
At its completion, the entire two-building Equilibrium complex will offer 40,800 square meters of leasable area. The project is a unique mix of green relaxation spaces and meeting hubs with modern exterior furniture that incorporates wireless chargers, power sockets and free WiFi. It is fully accessible to the community and residents.
