Skanska lands double contract in Copenhagen valued at SEK 452 M Skanska's Danish subsidiary Skanska Denmark A/S will construct two office buildings in Copenhagen. These two design-build contracts are valued at SEK 452 M, or DKK 380 M. The customer is the HK-Denmark trade union, which accounts for DKK 200 M of the order value, and the municipal central trade union organization, Kommunernes Landsforening, DKK 180 M. The buildings, covering a total of 27,000 square meters, will be constructed adjacent to one another in central Copenhagen, with a common underground garage. The two office buildings, which will be among the first in Copenhagen with a steel framework, will have the same architectural design. Pre-engineering work has begun and construction will begin this summer, with occupancy in September 2002.
