Skanska leases about 7,800 square meters office to Fortum in Solna United, Sweden

Skanska has leased about 7,800 square meters in the Solna United office building in Sweden to Fortum Fastigheter AB. The lease agreement is for 10 years. Occupancy will take place in May 1, 2020.

The lease means that approximately five hundred employees from Fortum's business areas Generation, City Solutions, Consumer Solutions and Technology and New Ventures will have a common future workplace in the building at Solna Station.

Solna United comprises approximately 32,000 square meters of leased office and retail space to be completed for occupancy in October 2019. The building will be certified according to LEED Green Building Rating System Level Platinum (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design).

With the agreement with Fortum, Solna United is leased to approximately 75 percent. The companies that have already signed a lease in the property include Arla, AGA, Telecomputing, Knightec and Sabis.
