Skanska leases the office building Piren2 in Gothenburg, Sweden, to Zenuity
Skanska has leased about 9,000 square meters in the Piren2 office building in Gothenburg, Sweden, to Volvo Cars and Autoliv's joint venture Zenuity. The lease agreement is for 11 years. Occupancy will take place in summer 2017 when the building is completed.
Zenuity, which develops software for advanced driver support systems and self-driving vehicles, will now be headquartered in Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The majority of the office building will be used for the company's operations and a café will be open to the public on the ground floor.
Piren2 is located in the center of one of Europe's leading technology clusters, next to Lindholmen Science Park and the Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel. The building is developed by Skanska and will be certified according to the LEED International Environmental Certification System, with a high focus on energy consumption and sustainable materials selection.
