Skanska prepares and maintains project site for new government quarter in Oslo, Norway, for NOK 563M, about SEK 560M
Skanska has signed a contract with Statsbygg, the Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property, regarding preparation and maintenance of the project site of the reconstruction of the government quarter in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 563M, about SEK 560M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2021.
The project includes preparatory work of the project site, operating and service during construction as well as disposal of all installations common to the various contractors involved in the first phase of the reconstruction of the government quarter after the terrorist attack on July 22, 2011. The following are covered during the project; installation of temporary technical infrastructure, common areas, and barracks as well as dismantling.
The delivery phase of the project is from October 2021 to October 2026.
