The order value is USD 12 M, approximately 100 M SEK. The client, Orbis, is the largest hotel operator in Poland, with 55 hotels in the country. "We are very pleased with Skanska's performance which enabled us to continue hotel operations throughout the recent refurbishment of the guest-rooms," says Marek Stopczyk, Director of the Hotel." Our guests expressed their appreciation, and we are now looking forward to start the refurbishment of this second phase." "This order strengthens our position as provider of construction-related services for the hotel industry where we see a positive development in Poland," says Bertil Nilsson, Country Manager of Skanska Polska. The work starts immediately and is scheduled for completion in December 2000. As previously the hotel will continue operating during the entire construction period.
