Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Helsinki to renovate congress and event venue Finlandia Hall located in the center of Helsinki, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 88M, about SEK 890M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter of 2021.

Finlandia Hall will be repaired and restored from top to bottom and renovated from the plumbing to the façade, while observing the protection the construction enjoys. The light interiors with marble walls, floors of natural stone and grand windows will be renovated to their former glory.
