Skanska renovates the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, USA, for USD 118M, about SEK 1 billion

Skanska has signed a contract with the Metropolitan Museum of Art to reconstruct the historic skylights and renovate attic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in Wings A, B, and C of the Museum. This contract is worth USD 118M, about SEK 1 billion, which will be included in Skanska’s order bookings for the third quarter 2018.

Construction on the project is underway and is scheduled to finish in December of 2021.
