Skanska sells Gothenburg property for SEK 33.5 M, posts capital gain of SEK 31 M Skanska has sold the approximately 1,300 sq. m. retail and office building, designated Vallgraven 8:19, in Gothenburg. The selling price is SEK 33.5 M and the capital gain on the sale is SEK 31.2 M. The buyer is Cityfastigheter in Gothenburg. The property, which was first constructed in the mid-1800s, was acquired by Skanska in the late 1960s and developed and modernized. The building was fully leased when sold.
