Skanska sells office building in Malmö, Sweden, for about SEK 1 billion
Skanska has sold the office building STUDIO in Malmö, Sweden, for about SEK 1 billion. The buyer is Kungsleden. The transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the first quarter 2018. The transfer of the property is scheduled for May 2018.
STUDIO comprises about 18,250 square meters and is located in the area Universitetsholmen, five minutes from the Central Station in Malmö. In addition to offices, the building comprises Story Hotel as well as retail and restaurants. Among the tenants are EY, Altitude Meetings, United Spaces, BIMobject and a Black Box for concerts and other types of events.
The office building is certified LEED Platinum (Leadership in Energy & Enviromental Design).
