Skanska sells office building in Romania for EUR 47 M, about SEK 440 M

Skanska has sold Building B of the office complex Green Court in Bucharest, Romania. The building has been acquired by the investment company Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd. The value of the transaction is EUR 47 M, about SEK 440 M, and the sale will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Europe in the fourth quarter 2015. The transfer of the property is scheduled for the same quarter.

The Green Court Bucharest B is LEED Gold pre-certified, has a total leasable area of around 18,600 square meters and is more than 80 percent leased.

Green Court Bucharest, located in the city’s new central business district, is the first office complex developed by Skanska in Romania. It comprises of three office buildings with a total leasable area of approximately 54,500 square meters. The transaction of Green Court Bucharest A to Globalworth Real Estate Investments Ltd. was finalized in June 2015.
