Skanska sells properties in Sweden for SEK 180 M, with a gain of SEK 130 M Skanska is selling two properties in Trollhättan, Sweden. The purchase price is SEK 180 M, and Skanska's gain on the sale amounts to SEK 130 M. The purchaser is Erik Selin, a property owner in western Sweden. The capital gain on the sale is reported in the fourth quarter of 2002 and the purchaser plans to take possession during the first quarter of 2003. Combined, the two properties, Oden 7 and Oden 8, make up the Oden commercial complex in central Trollhättan. The center comprises a total of approximately 17,000 square meters of store and office premises, together with the attached parking area. The tenants include Åhléns, H&M, Lindex and Kappahl among others. Skanska purchased Oden 8 in the mid-1970s, since then the property has gradually been upgraded. Oden 7 was acquired in 2000 and underwent extensive renovation. Currently, the Oden commercial center is virtually fully leased.
