Skanska sells property in Ängelholm for gain of SEK 41 M

PRESS RELEASE, AUGUST 27, 1999 74/99 Skanska sells property in Ängelholm for gain of SEK 41 M Skanska Øresund is selling the Örnen 28 property in central Ängelholm for SEK 47 million. The gain on the sale amounts to SEK 41 MK which will be reflected in Skanskas earnings for the third quarter. The 5,660-sq. m. property houses offices, shops and apartments. The buyer is the local real estate company Fastighets AB Portvakten. Transfer will be on October 1, 1999. The sale is part of Skanska's strategy of divesting properties that are fully leased and completely developed. With this sale, Skanska Øresund moves out of the Ängelholm market. Skanska Øresund is continuing to concentrate its operations as a project developer and real estate manager in major growth areas in the Öresund region.
