Skanska sells property in Linköping for SEK 95 million Skanska Mark och Exploatering AB, which is part of Skanska's Building Division, is selling Skanska Mark Elänett KB, a company that owns the Elektroniken 3 property in Linköping, to Mannerssons Fastighets AB. The selling price is SEK 95 million, which will yield a capital gain of SEK 14 million. The 8,800 m2 property, which contains such facilities as 77 separate apartments for senior citizens and 25 communal apartments, as well as physical fitness, rehabilitation and health care premises, is the result of a development project implemented by Skanska in Linköping. "The property is now fully developed. Thus it is now commercially viable to sell it to Mannerssons, a local property owner with a long-term ownership perspective that already owns several centrally located properties in Linköping. The takeover date is July 1, 1999. In conjunction with the sale, a cooperation agreement was signed regarding the joint development and processing of additional projects in Linköping. The first phase of this cooperation will involve the development of approximately 7,000 m2 of commercial and residential space at Elektroniken 2, a neighboring Skanska-owned property in Linköping, which will subsequently be transferred to Mannerssons.
