Skanska sells retirement home in Helsingborg, Sweden, to Folksam for about SEK 202 M

Skanska has sold a retirement home consisting of 60 apartments in the neighbourhood Gåsen in Helsingborg, Sweden for about SEK 202 M. The buyer is Folksam and the transaction will be recorded by Skanska Commercial Development Nordic in the third quarter 2020.

The retirement home that is under construction will be three stories tall with a total area of approximately 4,100 square meters. Tenant and operator will be Vardaga. The sustainability requirements are high, and the intention is to certify the house according to LEED Silver.

Folksam will get access to the retirement home during the fourth quarter of 2020 when the project will be completed.
