Skanska sells the office complex Green Towers in Wroclaw, Poland, for EUR 64 M, about SEK 557 M

Skanska sells Green Towers in Wrocław, Poland, to a Polish financial institution for EUR 64 million, about SEK 557 M. The transaction will be recorded in the fourth quarter of 2012 and the transfer is scheduled for the first quarter of 2013. 

Green Towers comprises of two ten-storey buildings and a leasable area of 23,300 square meters. The first building was completed in March 2012, whereas the other is scheduled for completion in January 2013, following the sale. The buildings are fully leased with the biggest lease contract signed for 14,400 square meters, tenants include Ernst & Young, Allegro Group, Dolby, BD Europe and Medicover Group. Green Towers is Skanska’s second office investment in Wrocław with the third, Green Day, already underway.

Green Towers features a number of sustainable solutions thanks to which the first completed building has been awarded the first LEED Platinum certificate for new buildings in Poland. Some of the technologies contributing to the buildings’ energy efficiency include efficient air-conditioning with fan coils, a free cooling system and adiabatic air humidifiers.
