Skanska signed contract for construction and renovation of IsoKristiina Shopping Center in Lappeenranta, Finland, for about SEK 754 M

Skanska has signed a contract for the construction and renovation of IsoKristiina Shopping Center, located in Lappeenranta, Finland. The value of the contract is EUR 88 M, about SEK 754 M. The investors in the project are Citycon and Ilmarinen, with 50 percent each. The order will be included in order bookings for Skanska Finland for the first quarter 2013.

IsoKristiina’s three existing buildings will be renovated. There will also be an extension part in which Lappeenranta City Theatre will have its new facilities. In total, the shopping center will comprise about 34,000 square meters of rentable space. In addition, more parking facilities will be built.

Works are scheduled to commence in March 2013 and will be completed in October 2015.
