Skanska signs a 6,000 square meter lease agreement with WSP in the office building Citygate in Gothenburg, Sweden
Skanska has signed a 7-year lease agreement with WSP for approximately 6,000 square meters in the Citygate office building in Gothenburg, Sweden. With this lease the building is now about 50 percent occupied.
WSP, an advisor and consultant within the field of urban development, will move to Citygate in early 2023 to floor eight, nine and ten. WSP will then have access to Citygate’s broad service concept that simplifies tenants’ everyday lives such as meeting places, training opportunities, bicycle hotels, restaurants and cafés.
Citygate is health certified according to the international standard WELL and sustainability certified according to LEED. The house will be 100 percent powered with local renewable electricity from the solar park in Utby, an important piece of the puzzle in an energy-efficient complete solution.
Citygate has 36 floors and is 144 meters high, with a total leasable area of approximately 42,000 square meters. The office building will be completed in the autumn of 2022 with tenants such as Sector Alarm, Compass Group, Visma, Parttrap, Skanska, Knightec, Aspia and Bosch.
