Skanska signs additional contract for office tower in Newark, USA, worth USD 220 M, about SEK 1.4 billion
Skanska has signed an additional contract for the building of the new officer tower for Prudential Financial Inc. in Newark, New Jersey, USA. The contract value is approximately USD 220 M, about SEK 1.4 billion, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the third quarter of 2013.
As previously announced, the project includes a 20-story office tower, with a total area of about 68,000 square meters, which will have an adjoining parking garage and retail space on the ground level. The project aims to achieve LEED certification on Gold level.
Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in early 2015.
