Skanska signs contract for office and commercial property in Oslo, Norway, worth NOK 524 M, about SEK 600 M
Skanska Norway has signed a contract with Norwegian Property ASA for constructing an office and commercial property in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 524 M, about SEK 600 M, which will be included in order bookings for the second quarter of 2013. Construction work starts in June 2013 and will be completed in the first quarter of 2015.
The construction comprises of a total 30,000 square meters with commercial space on the first level and office space on the rest of the seven levels. The building will have a green profile with BREEAM classification “Very Good”, and it will strive for energy class A and passive house standard.
Skanska Norway focuses on construction and civil engineering operations. The unit has approximately 4,500 employees. In 2012, Skanska Norway reported revenue of SEK 12.5 billion. In Norway, Skanska is also active in the development of residential, commercial properties and public private partnerships (PPP) projects.
