Skanska signs contract to build office tower in New Jersey, USA, worth USD 117 M, about SEK 760 M

Skanska has signed a contract with Prudential Financial Inc. to build an office tower in Newark, New Jersey, USA. The contract value is USD 117 M, about SEK 760 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the second quarter of 2013.

The 20-storey office tower, with a total area of about 68,000 square meters, will have an adjoining parking garage and retail space on the ground level. The project aims to achieve LEED certification on Gold level.

Construction has begun and is expected to be completed in March 2015.
