Skanska signs contract to expand thermal power plant in Brazil, worth BRL 169 M, about SEK 540 M

Skanska has been awarded a construction contract to expand a thermal power plant for a confidential client in Brazil. The total amount of the contract is BRL 169 M, about SEK 540 M, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska LA for the second quarter of 2013. 

Skanska will be responsible for the procurement, construction of the facilities, including civil works, electromechanical installations and commissioning.

Works are scheduled to commence immediately and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2014.
