Skanska signs lease with Dropbox, Inc. at its 2+U Office Development in Seattle, USA
Skanska has signed a long-term lease with Dropbox, a leading global collaboration platform, for 11,230 square-meters at its 2+U office development in Seattle, Washington, USA. Dropbox will take occupancy late 2020. With this newest lease, the office portion of 2+U is now 60 percent leased.
2+U is a 38-story, 64,000 square-meter office development in Seattle’s Central Business District. The project is targeting LEED Platinum. Skanska began construction in February 2017 and expects to complete construction operations in the third quarter 2019.
Since 2009, Skanska has invested more than USD 2 billion, about SEK 18 billion, in office and multi-family projects, and has developed office headquarters for tenants including, Waste Management Inc., Bank of America, Brooks Sports, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Tommy Bahama.
