Skanska signs major lease at 2+U office development in Seattle, USA

Skanska has signed a 13-year lease with Qualtrics for about 25,500 square meter at the 2+U office development in Seattle, Washington, USA. Qualtrics will take occupancy in summer 2020. With this transaction, the office portion of the development project is now 100 percent leased.

2+U is a 38-story, 64,000 square-meter office development in Seattle’s Central Business District. The project is pursuing LEED Platinum status. Skanska began construction in February 2017 and expects to complete construction operations in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Since 2009, Skanska USA Commercial Development has invested more than USD 2 billion in office and multi-family projects, and has developed office headquarters for tenants including, Waste Management Inc., Bank of America, Brooks Sports, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Tommy Bahama.
