Skanska signs new lease with The Swedish Transport Administration for office building in Malmö, Sweden

Skanska has signed a 6-year lease agreement with The Swedish Transport Administration for approximately 6,000 square meters in the Aqua office building, which is currently being built in Malmö, Sweden. With this lease the building is now about 70 percent occupied.

The Swedish Transport Administration will move in after the summer of 2022 and will have access to a large range of services, excellent communications and proximity to nature and park areas.

Aqua is located on Universitetsholmen in Malmö, right next to the canal and with the central station within walking distance. Each office has its own terrace adapted for outdoor work. On the entrance level there are rooms for public activities as well as bicycle hotels, showers and changing rooms to facilitate sustainable travel. The office building is designed to encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Aqua is health certified according to the international standard WELL and sustainability certified according to LEED, the highest level.
