Skanska signs service contract extension in UK for GBP 95M, of which GBP 27M, about SEK 360M, is booked in Q4 2024
Skanska has signed a seven-year contract extension with Eastbury Park Limited for a range of facilities management services at Northwood military headquarters in Hertfordshire, UK. The total value over the course of the contract will be GBP 95M, about SEK 1.3 billion. The first two years of revenue, GBP 27M, about SEK 360M, will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the fourth quarter of 2024.
Building on Skanska’s current facilities management provision at Northwood (consisting of hard and soft services across the whole estate), the contract will see the elements of the services subject to mid-term review renewed for a further seven years from November 2024.
Northwood HQ is a UK military headquarters, which also hosts a NATO headquarters. Approximately 2,000 people work on the site and there is accommodation for around a third of those on the base.
