Skanska Talonrakennus Oy acquitted in the matter involving former real estate manager of HOK-Elanto

The Helsinki District Court in Finland dismissed the charges against one of Skanska’s subsidiaries, Skanska Talonrakennus Oy, and the demand for a corporate fine. The case involves a former real estate manager of the Finnish company HOK-Elanto and is about assessing certain sports sponsorship payments that Skanska Talonrakennus Oy has made before 2013. The decision can be appealed.

Also, all the persons employed by Skanska Oy, including the CEO Tuomas Särkilahti, were freed from charges.
