Skanska to construct road in Poland for PLN 198 M, about SEK 440 M

Skanska has received the construction contract for a stretch of the S8 express road near Łódź and the A1 motorway near Wrocław. The contract value is PLN 198 M, about SEK 440 M, which will be included in the order bookings for the fourth quarter. Customer is the General Directorate of Public Roads and Motorways.

The project covers the construction of 1.3 km of S8, at Wrocław junction, and 2.8 km of A1, near Łódź. Skanska will also construct 4 viaducts over A1, animal passages and acoustic screens. The construction will start immediately and the road is scheduled to be completed within 27 months.
